Contact & Communication
The work-life balance is a unique space for me as I've turned my passions into an entire lifestyle and will continue to do so as Wanderling Care evolves into Wanderling Wild.
Familyhood is basically all consuming, especially in these early years and the needs do not exist solely within the 9-5 frame.
The community has access to my personal phone number as well as my email and I make an effort to be flexible and available for support.
I've done late night phone calls, lingering lunch chats, stayed late for naps and dropped everything to hold space so parents could attend to emergencies.
Please understand that my rhythm ebbs and flows with and in response to many moving factors. There are big swells wherein I will be dashing from here to there and slow flows where I am more available.
In response to this, unless it is urgent or time sensitive - it may take a minute for me to return correspondence and when I am away from my work I am most often unplugged and out of range in order to recharge.
Communication and connection is always welcome and patience is appreciated.
I deeply enjoy in-person conversations about family, parenthood and all of the intersectionality that exists in this realm of being. My Wanderling Playgroup is part of an effort to be more available.
My priority is intentionally cultivated relationships within this community and all that we can accomplish here, now.

What should I bring ?
1.) Yourselves! Come as you are, in the fray of early childhood we don't care if you're in sweat pants. Caregivers are required to attend programming alongside their small humans. Drop off care and alternative education is a goal later down the line.
2.)Weather gear! With different micro climates, varying levels of sensitivity to temperature and of course the messiness of childhood, packing layers and extra clothes is essential!
3). Snacks and water! Growing bodies are always hungry. Especially when out and about. Beyond this, having food packed specially from home is a great added comfort while out and about in the world.
4). personal hygiene gear: sunscreen, bug spray, diapers wipes...etc.
See you out there!
